Lydia Phillips

Lydia Phillips, is an equity-centered professional focused on cultivating strong teams and leading innovative program design to advance youth agency. With nearly 20 years in education and social impact, her work engages youth within the R&D ecosystem in co-designing new products and experiences. She was the National Director of Impact and Organizational Learning at BUILD.org, leading both the program team and overseeing the DEIB strategy for the national nonprofit. Lydia has also served as a teacher and instructional coach in middle and high schools. She holds a Master’s in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of San Diego and a B.A. in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Central Florida. She is a mother, a partner, a coffee snob and thinks the Redwoods are magical!
